Pampering is a gentle, deeply relaxing massage that combines mindful strokes with nurturing touches of varying intensity. We use soft and smooth tools to stimulate the nervous system through the skin—often creating pleasant tingling and goosebumps. Our goal is to let this soothing sensation flow through your whole body. The massage incorporates elements that naturally guide you into the alpha state of rest—deep relaxation and release. It is a moment where you can simply be. No pressure, no performance—just care and calm.
GOOSEBUMPS – the silent touch of the soul
Goosebumps (technically called piloerection) occur through the activation of the sympathetic branch of the autonomic nervous system in response to strong emotions or physical stimuli—such as cold, music, touch, or an intense experience. The contraction of the tiny muscles at the hair follicles causes the hairs to stand upright. The well-known effect of goosebumps.
It is a residual evolutionary reaction (for animals serving as insulation or defense) that, in humans, has transformed into a sensitive emotional sensor. We often experience it when touched by deep emotion, during profound experiences, or when tension is released—as the body's response to powerful inner movement.
Although it has no direct healing effect, it is a sign of the connection between body and emotions. It often triggers a parasympathetic response—a state of calm and regeneration—that supports overall well-being.
ALPHA – state of deep relaxation
The alpha state is a natural state of deep relaxation, where brain activity slows down to a frequency of 8–13 Hz. It is often described as the state between wakefulness and sleep—we remain conscious, but the mind is calm, relaxed, and open.
In this state, the parasympathetic nervous system is activated—the body regenerates, the heartbeat slows, breathing becomes calmer, and the whole organism naturally harmonizes. Many people experience the alpha state during meditation, gentle massage, listening to music, or in moments when they "switch off" and simply let things flow.
TREATMENT PROCESS:
Each visit is tailored to the client's individual needs and can focus on different parts of the body depending on current wishes. The massage is generally characterized by gentle, mindful, and slow touches and strokes. Depending on the length of the session, it may include the back of the body, and if desired, also the front. Upon request, the massage can be complemented with hair caressing or a gentle, relaxing foot massage. In addition to oil, we also use soft props such as feathers or fur-like textures. The entire concept flows through gradual transitions—from firm techniques to the most delicate touches.
